The Scenic Hotel Presents the ANNUAL celebration of all things - TOMATO.Passata day is an Italian tradition celebrated around Australia, between January to March when tomatoes are at their best. It involves families coming together, chopping , boiling and then bottling the mixture for cooking throughout the year. Of course, at the end of a hard day’s work, it also calls for a classic Italian lunch (in this case Nonna Maria's lasagna), with homemade wine and lots of laughter.
On Sunday 2 March, join the team at The Scenic to make and bottle your very own passata, or kick back and enjoy the show!
Tickets $35; which includes a highly skilled lesson provided by David Scarsella and his team of Nonni, a bottle of passata to take home, and a plate of Maria's lasagna!
Kid's under 10-years-old are FREE!
Live music by Italian super stars, playing all the Italian classics from the 1950's-70's, including Carosone, Murolo & Modugno.
Vegan/vego and GF options available.
