This field trip is 100% free, and includes lunch! The goal of Spectra is to bring space science programming to LGBTQ+ teenagers in the Kansas City area. Ever wondered what it's like to be queer in STEM? This program will shine a light on the experience, bringing attention to famous queer and trans scientists, and giving you a chance to hear firsthand from LGBTQ+ science educators. We'll also get a planetarium show, customized, hands-on discovery areas just for our group, and time to explore the museum. Attendees will also receive an invitation to an observation night later on in the season. Did we mention that all of this is free? They will even validate your parking!
