Deeply colored with a dark ruby core that lightens at the rim of the glass, with moderately thick, slow-forming tears. Warmly aromatic with ripe red and black cherry notes, cigar box, and toasted oak with savory elements of vanilla and caramel with fresh sage, and hints of cocoa.

Packed violet, elderberry-paste and straight-up charcoal aromas on the nose. The palate pairs dried meat with black, almost bitter fruits, all clinging to a very firm structure.

Dark berries, cedar, walnuts, sweet spices and pencil shavings on the nose. Full-bodied and so polished and linear, with a chalky texture on the tannins. Wide and layered. Beautiful fruit. Lingering and refined.
