*Car Seat Safety-Educational Distribution Class*
The car seat distribution classes are reserved for families who are unable to obtain a car seat at the regular cost. Car seats can be distributed for unborn children or for children who are outgrowing their current seat.
*The limit is one car seat per child. Unfortunately, we do not have the resources to distribute car seats for a second vehicle. The purpose of the program is that each child has the opportunity to ride safely in a car. We will provide education to transfer car seats from vehicle to vehicle.*
Education and installation are a requirement to obtain a car seat for our program. If a family does not plan to get a car seat at the educational distribution session but still wants to attend the program, the session will help to further their knowledge about installation.
Register only once per family attending.
If you are expecting, please register for a session during the last trimester of your pregnancy. When registering for a class-select the number of child car seat(s) needed for your unborn child(ren), ie. if you are expecting twins, you would select 2 child tickets and please enter N/A in the name, age, weight and height fields.
Car seats available for participant are convertible car seats, which accommodate children from infancy (rear-facing starting at 5 lbs) and switch to the forward facing (up to 65 lbs).
Booster seats are for children who are at least 4 years old and weigh a minimum of 40 lbs.
Contributions of $20 per convertible car seat are collected at the time of your appointment (cash or money orders only). Booster seats are $10 each. The contribution amount may vary accommodating special circumstances such as high weight limit or special referral. All contributions help to fund car seats for families in need.
