About this Event
This course is an eight-hour POST certified curriculum focusing on the Preliminary Alcohol Screening-PAS device. It is designed to teach the individual officer/employee how to operate and calibrate the device along with extensive instruction in courtroom testimony and the legal challenges to the PAS.
This course is designed for Intoximeter, Lifecloc and Drager devices.
Students will need to bring the PAS Device to the class along with their accuracy/calibration equipment (e.g. dry gas or wet bath solution). The equipment is necessary to pass the profiency aspect of this course.
