After years of voyaging and exploring the wildest forests, deserts, prairies, islands, clubs, bars - we have gathered experience and knowledge in the Psytrance music, art, and culture and we would love to share with you all here in Calgary. Egon's Embrace - Parvati Records
As a form of personal therapy, Egon’s Embrace is an alter ego, an ongoing metamorphosis that allows me to explore parts of my personality that are often impossible to explore in everyday life. I often see myself as an anomaly in psychedelic trance world as my guiding thread in creating music is self-indulgence. I take my feelings and introspections about a world and people as a starting point and turn them into an expressive art form that is almost like a painting drawn with sounds. As such, Egon’s Embrace is very personal and expressive testimony to challenging, often harrowing, periods of my life. As a combination of despair, melancholy, anguish, joy, and ultimately hope, it is as much philosophy or poetry as it is music. I see it as an open invitation for the audience to have a voyeuristic peak into my soul and endure whatever screams back at them. After all, all I want is to create something that takes them someplace otherworldly. In the end, although Egon’s Embrace is drawn towards the darker psychedelic sound, there is still a bit of a dreamer in it otherwise. Close your eyes, take a deep breath, and drown with me.

Goa Pete - Iono Music
Goa Pete is a seasoned DJ and event promoter originally from India, now residing in Calgary. His journey began after his first visit to Goa in 1989, an experience that transformed his life. Since then, Goa became a yearly pilgrimage, and his exposure to the legendary Goa parties fueled a passion for music that only grew stronger.
By the mid-90s, Goa Pete was immersed in the Psytrance scene, playing world-class sets and building a reputation for his energetic performances. His sonic alchemy keeps crowds moving and connects with the global electronic music community.

Introducing Wattsun, the sonic superhero alter ego of Daniel Boulos! Picture this: a five-year-old Daniel, brandishing a cello like a lightsaber, ready to conquer the galaxy with his musical prowess. Fast forward a few years (okay, more than a few), and he's been zapping out psychedelic basslines and enchanting melodies under the alias illemen tree. But wait, there's more—enter Wattsun, his latest and greatest sonic adventure!
Since his grand move to Calgary in 2012, Daniel’s been hobnobbing with a merry band of event-organizing wizards, conjuring up everything from Ecstatic Dance Workshops to mind-blowing music festivals. He's taken a deep dive into the magical realm where music and dance collide, transforming into an Ecstatic Dance DJ extraordinaire. Think Gandalf, but with turntables.
Over the years, our intrepid musical explorer has opened for big shots like Quanta, Kaminanda, Whitebear, Adham Shaikh, AtYya, Stickybuds, Random Rab, Hedflux, and Grouch. He’s also graced the stages of epic gatherings like Motion Notion, Astral Harvest, and Inshala Festival, leaving a trail of groovy, glittering stardust in his wake. Get ready to be swept off your feet and into the stratosphere by the one and only Wattsun!
