Become a volunteer tutor with Partners in Reading, San Jose Public Library. Imagine that you could not apply for a job or accept a promotion. If reading medications were difficult or signing a lease and doing your banking required help from a friend, everyday life would be a challenge.
If you struggled to talk to someone to get basic information at the grocery store, at a community resource, or at work, you would need a boost from a volunteer just like you!
