Partners Film Screening and Discussion
Join Just Economics and the Living Wage Coalition of Transylvania County for a film screening of the film Partners followed by a discussion on challenges and successes of unionizing efforts in WNC.
When a group of baristas in Buffalo, New York announce their intention to start a labor union, Starbucks responds with an elaborate, illegal anti-union attack. Featuring on-the-ground footage from workers and organizers, Partners takes us to the front lines of the historic union campaign that catalyzed America’s Gen Z labor revival.
