Leave feeling connected to your partner and yourself, grounded, refreshed through shared breath and movement.

Join us for a nourishing Partner Yoga Workshop, a two-hour journey designed to help you connect, breathe, and move together. Partner yoga invites us to experience the practice in a fresh way—through trust, support, and presence—while leaving space for lightness and laughter. This practice goes beyond emotional connection, inviting safe and supportive physical touch that deepens awareness and trust between partners.
Together, we’ll explore accessible stretches, supportive postures, and simple breath practices that encourage connection and balance. There’s no need for advanced experience—while it’s useful if at least one partner has some yoga background, the focus is on sharing the practice, not perfecting challenging poses. No inversions or acrobatics—just approachable movements that open the door to presence, awareness, and the joy of moving together.
You’re welcome to attend with a spouse, partner, or friend—or come along solo and pair up with someone in the group. This is a space to deepen existing connections or simply share an uplifting experience with someone new.
Leave feeling grounded and refreshed, with a sense of connection not only to your partner but also to yourself. Come ready to breathe, move, and share both mindful moments and a few smiles along the way.
About Nicola
Nicola was introduced to a yoga practice in the late 90s, during her dance training at Trinity Laban. Since then she has taught contemporary dance and movement in a number of FE and HE colleges and educational settings, with a strong emphasis on breathwork, dynamic alignment and embodied awareness.
She has been teaching yoga since 2011 following her training with Yogacampus, and has taught regular adult classes alongside school workshops in primary schools, pupil referral units and as part of a dance training programme at William Morris Sixth Form.
She is also qualified to teach Birthlight Pregnancy Yoga (2013) and Postnatal Yoga (2014) and ran the Wellness Centre at Kingston Hospital Maternity Unit (2018-2021).
Her approach is deeply informed by Somatic Release Technique (SRT), which has been a foundation of her practice since she qualified in the Introductory Pedagogy in 2012.
About Richard
Richard’s journey with movement began back in the early 1990s, when he discovered Chinese martial arts, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong. These practices opened his eyes to the deep connection between body and mind, something he has carried with him ever since.
He came to yoga in 2016, and has been practising regularly at OrangeYoga for the past four years. In 2023, he completed his 200-hour teacher training with Ian Davis, and is now working towards his 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training, which he hopes to finish in late 2025.
Richard loves sharing the many benefits yoga has brought him, and feels privileged each time he gets to guide a class. His background in education—over 20 years as an English teacher and tutor—shapes the way he teaches: with warmth, humour, and encouragement.
Outside yoga, he enjoys reading, music, and acting, all of which add to his practice. For Richard, yoga is about connection—with ourselves, with others, and with something greater—and he believes this is something everyone should have the chance to experience.
