Each session will bring you a different pillar of financial literacy: Money Matters 101, Credit & Debt Management, and the Path to Own.

This event is open to anyone who wants comprehensive and relevant education to help increase financial savvy and ultimately lead to wealth building through homeownership. You do not need to be an MBA member to attend. You can also attend one, two, or all three events.

Path to Own is an informative course designed to guide employees through the journey of homeownership. In this third session, we cover the costs and benefits of owning a home, emphasizing the importance of building equity and the historical appreciation of home values. It provides detailed steps for buying a home, including budgeting, mortgage pre-approval, and the roles of real estate agents and inspections. Additionally, the course covers crucial financial aspects such as understanding credit scores, managing debt-to-income ratios, and preparing for down payments. This course aims to equip employees with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed decisions and achieve homeownership.
