Parrot Training Academy 2024 - REGISTRATION OPEN!
This year each workshop (101, 201 and 301) will be offered individually based on interest. Therefore dates for PTA101 will be made available but 201 and 301 will be TBA. Package prices will be available for attendees wishing to upgrade their PTA101 ticket to include 201 / 301 when these become available.

PTA101 covers the following:
• Wild and captive parrot behaviour
• Body Language and it's applications for training
• Diet, enrichment and environment set up
• Introduction to Training (ABCs)
• Training foundation behaviours such as step up, target training, stationing
• Hands-on training with parrots!
Bring your own bird options available (limited spaces and behaviour / health check dependent).
Included in the price:
• Workshop attendance (7 hours of active workshop time per workshop)
• Digital copies of workshop presentations
• Attendee gift bag including clicker, pen, notebook, samples + more (once per attendee, not per workshop)
• $20 off private consultations booked within 12 months of PTA101 (available for one session only).
• Tea / Coffee (BYO Food / Lunch)
Not included in the price:
• On site parking - if you require parking in the on-site underground carpark please ensure you choose this in your ticketing options when purchasing your ticket (+$14). Street parking is available.
**Please note: Due to the current, ongoing outbreak of Avian Influenza in Victoria strict health and safety protocols will be in place for our PTA Melbourne event for all attendees (ie: hand washing, foot washing stations etc). No 'Bring Your Own Bird' options will be available to any client attending from the Restricted or Controlled areas (at the time of the event). Pending veterinary advice, further requirements may be in place for any client wishing to bring a bird with them who lives in the adjoining locations to a restricted/controlled zone (ie: quarantine inside for 4 weeks before the event etc). As this is a constantly changing situation we will continue to keep you informed. **
