Bonjour a tous et toutes! Bienvenues au retour de la classe de français.
This year's class will focus primarily on listening and speaking. Many of us lamented last semester that we needed more listening practice to really understand 'everyday' French conversation..
Therefore, this semester, we will each bring with us movie clips (no more than 5 minutes) that we can delve into via shadowing, repeating, paraphrasing, reading dialog with, and without, subtitles. After this practice, we will then listen with no aides until we really understand. Finally, we will discuss the film clip as: information, topic for debate or discussion, q/a, critique, main points, outline, chart, timeline.
