This event is something totally new for Parkway!Kids, Kindergarten through 5th Grades are invited to join us on January 18th from 2-6pm for our Lego Building Competition.
We wanted to offer an indoor event during the bleakness of January, after all of the holiday festivities have worn off. Kids, Kindergarten through 5th Grades are invited to register for the competition and will be grouped into 3 grade groups: K-1, 2-3, & 4-5. Each group will participate in 2 builds: a race car build and a "free" category where anything goes.
Each grade group will compete in 3 categories: Best looking car, fastest car, and best build for their grade group. There will also be a prize for best build overall!
This event will be held in the Hull Center at Parkway Christian Center, 229 NE Beacon Drive, Grants Pass (across from Fred Meyer).
This event costs $5 per participate. Parents are welcome to addend this event with their kiddos for free to watch and cheer them on as a spectator. Parents do not need to register to come watch from the sidelines. However, if parents want to participate in the activity with their kids, you will need to register as a volunteer and go through Parkway Christian Center's process to become a volunteer.
