About the Event:
Tritax Big Box (through Intermodal Logistics Park North Ltd) is holding a local consultation event as part of its statutory process for a proposed Strategic Rail Freight Interchange (SRFI) — known as the Intermodal Logistics Park North Rail Freight Interchange (ILPN RFI).
This development would include a new rail terminal and over 8 million sq. ft. of warehousing on land to the east of the M6 (Junction 22), between Winwick Lane and Parkside Road — adjoining Winwick, Croft, Lowton and Newton-le-Willows.
This event is one of four being held locally and offers an opportunity for residents to:

• Ask questions directly to the project team
• Share your views before the consultation closes
The consultation runs from Tuesday 28 October to Tuesday 23 December 2025 (11:59pm).
