The Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department in partnership with the City of Bloomington’s Arts & Entertainment department are set to host a Job Fair on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM at the Grossinger Motors Arena at 101 South Madison Street Bloomington, IL. The event will take place on the north concourse of the Arena and guests will enter from the Front St. doors.

Applicants aged 15 and above will have the opportunity to meet program directors and discuss job responsibilities for multiple Parks & Recreation positions.

“This Job Fair will be a great opportunity for those curious about what opportunities are available within the City of Bloomington” said Thom Rakestraw, Marketing Manager for the City of Bloomington’s Parks & Recreation department, adding “this will be a fun experience with free snacks and soda available and program managers and staff on site to answer any questions about the seasonal positions and job responsibilities.”

Positions available include, lifeguards, swim instructors, golf course, seasonal laborers, youth sports instructors, cashiers, van drivers, guest services, day camp counselors and many more! Positions within the Arts & Entertainment department include concession attendant, bartender, arena worker, and custodian.
