Parklands Cricket welcomes all in our community and members past, present and future to our free fun Welcome/Open Day at Parklands Reserve. Outside (between the playground and cricket nets), we'll have the BBQ fired up, inflatables from Canterbury Cricket including the popular "catch pad", bowling machines, crazy catches, games of cricket and a fun series of cricket-themed challenges set up for the kids. Anyone who completes the challenges will get a reward and go in the draw to win one of four BlackCaps clothing prizes!
Coaches and committee members will be available to answer questions and help with registering for the season, and anyone who registers before the end of the day will also go into the draw to win one of two Canterbury Cricket junior membership packs.
Our clubrooms will also be open with shirt pickup for registered players, new shorts sale in conjunction with McCracken Sports New Brighton as well as a second hand shorts exchange.
