About this Event

The returns to The Bay to perform traditional "oompah"-style and a range of other music.

Make sure to be a part of the world-famous "Chicken Dance" tradition. Or, compete in the ever-popular Steinhoisting contest. Or, challenge those you know (or perhaps, those you don't know) to a mean game of cornhole.

The DeLeon Family has been performing at Oktoberfests all over Florida for over 30 years. Spanning 3 generations of accordion players, the DeLeon Family Oktoberfest band offers an authentic Oktoberfest experience like none other. Creating the atmosphere of a traditional "oom-pah" style Polka band with the energy of a live festival band, the DeLeon Band can sing and play all of the classic Bavarian heritage music, as well as more contemporary tunes from today's Oktoberfest.

Free parking is located around the site— along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way, and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
Location changes or event cancellations will be posted on The Bay Website, Facebook, and Eventbrite up to one hour before start time, as the weather changes quickly.
