Happy (Unofficial) Summer! We are celebrating with three park-keepings this month, plus some less strenuous events if you want to relax a bit - listed on the BPC website. At the park-keeping events, as always you're welcome to drop in for some or all of the session, although it does help if you can rsvp to [email protected]. Please bring your own water and bug repellent. We have gloves and tools available, and if you have your own they are most welcome.

Meet along Paterson St near Nisbet St.
We will continue our fantastic progress removing burning bush and bittersweet from the South Section. Tools to bring: loppers, pointed shovel, hand pruners.
Monday June 24, 10:00 - 11:30 (note earlier time).
Meet in the ravine behind York Pond
Knotweed removal. Tools to bring: loppers, pointed shovel, hand pruners.
Sunday June 30, 10:30 - noon
North end trails and knotweed removal. We will reinforce a trail and remove knotweed and/or bittersweet. Tools to bring: loppers, pointed shovel, hand pruners.
