Enjoy an afternoon of music and family fun at the free ParkFest Love & Music Day, presented by the Parks Foundation of Broward County and Rick Case Automotive Group. The main act will be the 100-member Florida Youth Orchestra (FYO) and special guest, Grammy-winning jazz flutist Nestor Torres, performing from 2:30-4PM, This performance honors the Broward Community Foundation's 40 Years of Service. The Opening Act will be the Fuzz, the Plantation Police band, from 1-2:30PM. David Orson will be the emcee.
Other activities include food trucks, kids' activities, the FYO's Instrument Play Pen, and beer and wine concessions. Bring lawn chairs and/or blankets to relax on the park’s lush green space and enjoy the concerts. No seating is provided. Please note that outside food, beverages, or coolers are not permitted, and pets should be left at home. A limit of one backpack or purse will be in effect. Event capacity is limited.
