After 20 shows in Mt Eden we're expanding our park based comedy open mic into Onehunga.
90 minutes, more or less, of live, in-person, stand-up comedy featuring Auckland comedians at a variety of levels performing for you. You never know what you'll get, but it's always fun. We even encourage people who have never tried comedy before to stand up & give it a go.
We start at 6:30 and finish sometime after 8 PM in Jellicoe Park, Quadrant Road.
Bring something to sit on and a water bottle. Snacks can be good also. It's hard to hear laughter over rumbling stomachs.
We accept donations to help cover the time and costs setting up and running the event, cash can be given in the yellow bucket or electronically (details in our Koha page https://park.comedyshow.nz/koha/ )
To comply with Covid framework "Red" requirements: it's outdoors, no limits on audience size with no vaccine pass requirement. We ask you to maintain a 1 metre distance from people in other bubbles and recommend mask wearing.
For the safety of performers, we are managing the use of our microphones to minimise sharing. Please contact us in advance if you would like to use your own microphone.
