About this Event

Bloods Lake Trail | Moderate

Come explore the stunning natural beauty of the Bloods Lake Trail on this 3 mile out-and-back trek with the Park City community!

Located at the top of Big Cottonwood Canyon in Wasatch County, Bloods Lake Trail is a hike that's great for the whole family. This hike provides classic views of spring wildflowers and fall colors. The trailhead can easily be reached from the Wasatch Front, Midway, and Park City-just below Guardsman Pass. This hike starts above 9000 feet of elevation. Short portions of the trail are steep and rocky. If time permits, we'll consider an optional hike to the upper lake as well.

Please layer your clothing, as the hike will start out cold! Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed.

The only bad hike is the one you didn’t take.

Our trail hikes and urban adventures are a time to get together with old friends and make new ones. They're a time to unplug from our devices, breathe in the fresh air and connect with the world around us. At Nature Unplugged, we're committed to creating a community that values time outside, together—and that’s why we host our annual Hike-A-Thon and locally guided hikes.

Important Note: This event is a part of a month-long Hike-A-Thon! To participate in the Hike-A-Thon, please register here: https://charity.pledgeit.org/enu-hike-a-thon-2024

About the Nature Unplugged Hike-A-Thon:
Powered by Fjallraven.

OCTOBER 1 - 31, 2024 | For the month of October, participants will be taking steps (literally and figuratively) to improve their own health, build community and advocate for less screen time and more green time. This hybrid event inspires people of all ages and abilities to get outdoors and raise funds to bring preventative mental health education and outdoor programming to communities in need. Participants can join local guided hikes (in select cities across the US and Canada), or log miles from anywhere in the world!
