The world-renowned Dalí Quartet returns to the PAC Center with a special performance of Franz Schubert's haunting masterpiece "Winterreise" in collaboration with acclaimed baritone Randall Scarlata.Scarlata received a Grammy nomination for his 2018 recording of "Winterreise", and now he joins forces with the Dalí Quartet to present this work in a striking and uncommon manner.
The delicate piano accompaniment has been expertly adapted for the string quartet, creating an intensified dramatic experience as listeners are transported to the world of a young man journeying through a winter landscape to reckon with his grief over a lost love.
The Dalí Quartet is known for their passionate performances that blend the classical tradition with the vibrant sounds of Latin America. Their unique approach to chamber music has earned them critical acclaim around the world.
The concert takes place from 7- 8 p.m. and will be followed by a reception with the musicians.
Tickets are $25 adult/$10 student.
