About this Event
Let’s be honest. Our old methods for growing faithful disciples and vibrant churches are not working.
Our learning communities are the environment of peer learning and mentorship that you need as you discern how to faithfully pursue the dreams of God in your neighborhood.
If you are serious about engaging your neighborhood as a faith community (either as a congregation or as a group within a larger regional congregation) this is an experience for you.
Parish Collective has partnered with multiple churches and denominations to bring this transformative learning experience to ministry leaders from diverse expressions across Seattle and the greater Puget Sound area.
Lead Facilitators: Coté Soerens & Tim Soerens
Additional guest facilitators will also be invited for specific expertise.
Each Learning Community Spans 9 Months and Includes
Three, 2-day, in-person Intensives
Field Work Guide, Course Readings, and Strategy Canvas
Online Peer Learning Group
Curated Parish Immersions (Urban, Suburban, Rural)
Invitation to ongoing peer-learning collective
What To Expect:
As a participant, over the course of the 9 months, you will have ongoing peer support, course readings, and field experiments. You will also meet for three in-person, two-day Intensives. These gatherings will begin on a Thursday morning and end Friday late afternoon. See dates and times for the Seattle Learning Community below.
You and/or your team will discern and implement intentional steps toward growing presence, working as a team, and collaborating with others in your context. Upon completion of the learning community, you will be invited to join a private Facebook group for ongoing peer learning with other Learning Community participants.
