This free evening talk at St Barnabas Anglican Church aims to explore the historical events of 5 Nov 1881, the Crown invasion of the peaceful Taranaki village of Parihaka and its philosophy of peace and reconciliation through non-violence. It is informal, discussion-based, and beginner-friendly and run by an experienced facilitator. No te reo Māori or prior knowledge necessary. All welcome.
