Join us for this event funded by Neighbourhood Small Grants!
An afternoon to support and nourish parents of any kind. There will be snacks, guest speakers, crafts, child supervision and time to mingle!
There are a plethora of activities for children in our community and I wanted to offer something specific for the parents, as we do so much of the work! I was also inspired by a parenting conference that we attended in Revelstoke last year and wanted to bring something similar to Golden.
A rough schedule to anticipate:
2pm Arrival
2:30pm First Guest Speaker & hosts: Sarah & Dan
*Play, values & crafting
3pm Second Guest Speaker: Lisa
*Big Picture Parenting through the lens of Yoga & Astrology
3:30pm Snack Break & Mingle
4pm Third Guest Speaker: Sarah J.
*Preparing your child for teenagehood
4:30pm Questions & Mingle
5pm departure
This event is being hosted at our home on the Golden Donald Upper. Please register and I will send out our address and directions the week before. If you need a ride, reach out and we can see if we can arrange some carpooling.
Please bring a potluck item to share!
Please RSVP ahead of time with how many adults & children so we can plan accordingly! There will be child supervision provided for those who can't make other arrangements. If it's a nice day, the children will play outside while the parents gather indoors, so dress/prepare appropriately.
