MomPros September 2025 welcomes moms from the community to join us for Parenting Strategies for Deeper Connections! Join us at the Lake Nona Performance Club for an enriching event focused on strengthening the bond between you and your child. Our expert speaker will share valuable insights and practical tips to help you navigate the challenges of parenting with confidence.
September's panelist, Susan Dixon, RCSWI has a background in social work, marketing, and child therapy. She is mother to a blended family of 5 (now mostly grown) children and has been married to her husband Eric for 15 years. Susan offers therapy services for children who are having difficulty adjusting to new things, have experienced loss, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bullying, or behavioral issues. She has extensive experience helping autistic children, those with selective mutism, and ADHD. Susan primarily uses play therapy as a way of building bonds with children and provide a safe, fun, nonjudgemental space so they feel free to explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Above all, her passion is helping family members connect and understand each other better, and eventually work her way out of a job.
Mom Pros Orlando is a monthly collaborative parenting event for moms to be through grandmas who continue to be! Designed for working moms seeking to develop meaningful relationships with other moms by learning, supporting, and growing with one another on this journey of parenthood! Each month will host a new topic related to parenting as a working professional and will be facilitated by a Licensed Mental Health Therapist with over 20 years of experience in mental health.
