About this Event

In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health, Avo

Soltanian is presenting "Parenting from an Armenian Perspective" on May 16th at the

Armenian Society of Los Angeles. Avo Soltanian is dedicated to assisting Armenian families to

overcome today’s parenting challenges. He is a staunch believer that the cornerstone of any

harmonious family is based on mental health and mindful parenting.

Avo Soltanian, LMFT, is the Director and founder of Anchor Counseling Group, which

serves counseling services to hundreds of Armenian families every year. He has been

practicing psychotherapy in Southern California for 20 years, with extensive experience

treating psychological disorders and counseling Armenian families. He has trained many

clinicians to work with the Armenian underserved population.

This seminar is designed to help Armenian parents grow closer with their children and create

happier, healthier family dynamics. Some of the topics that will be discussed include effective

parenting styles, family bonding and the various challenges modern parents face. The

presentation allows for discussion between the presenter and the audience, and participation

is highly encouraged. Parents will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the

Q&A portion of the presentation. Parents of children of all ages can benefit from this engaging

presentation and discussion. We hope to see you there!
