About This Workshop
This faith-informed, educational workshop is designed for parents and caregivers of children struggling with anxiety. Together, we will explore practical, evidence-based mental health strategies as well as integrating Christian principles to help your child face anxiety with courage and confidence.
This workshop is being hosted by Clair Counselling. Presented by Danielle Pender, BSW, RSW, a Registered Social Worker in Ontario. This workshop offers a supportive space for learning, reflection, and encouragement.
Half of the proceeds of this event will be donated to Church Out Serving – a local, faith inspired, community focused charity. The other half will be used to purchase workshop materials.
We want this event to be both valuable and accessible to families in our community:
- Single Parent/Caregiver: $35
- Two Parents/Caregivers (attending together): $55
- (Includes workshop materials, resources, and light refreshments)

This is an educational event and not a therapy group. While rooted in professional social work practice, it does not constitute individual clinical therapy.
Confidentiality is valued, but cannot be fully guaranteed in a group setting. As a regulated professional, the presenter is legally and ethically required to report any disclosure of:
- Intent to harm oneself or others
- Suspected child abuse or neglect
- Information required by court order
