Parenting is one of the most rewarding and challenging roles in life, and every parent does the best they can with the tools they have. As Maya Angelou wisely said, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.” This workshop will provide practical guidance and compassionate understanding to help you navigate the journey of parenthood, embracing the imperfections along the way.

About the Speaker:

Valeria Neiman, C.H.t. brings a wealth of expertise in holistic wellness and therapeutic practices to her “Parenting 101” workshop, offering parents valuable tools to navigate the complexities of raising children. She is a Certified Transpersonal and Clinical Hypnotherapist, a Certified Life Coach, and an experienced children’s grief counselor. With her beginnings as a teacher, she has been in classrooms in different capacities since 1998. Her approach is rooted in fostering emotional resilience and personal growth, integrating hypnotherapy, coaching, and vibro-acoustics.

Valeria has dedicated years to helping individuals and families heal through life’s transitions, including her role as a faculty member in a Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship (Touro). In this workshop, she will provide parents with practical strategies for mindful parenting, self-regulation, and emotional awareness. Her goal is to empower parents to build stronger, more connected relationships with their children at every stage of development, all while promoting a balanced and compassionate approach to family life.
