The Parent Support Group is facilitated by a volunteer who will introduce topics, guide activities, and mediate discussions. Please note that this group is peer-led, meaning the conversations and interactions are primarily driven by the attendees themselves. The facilitator’s role is to ensure a supportive and respectful environment, but the group’s success relies on the active participation and mutual respect of all members.
Confidentiality is a core principle of this group. While we encourage open and honest sharing, please be aware that all discussions within the group should remain confidential to maintain a trusting environment. This group is intended as a space for shared support and is not a substitute for professional therapy or counseling.
Please note: Attendance every week is not required—you’re welcome to join whenever you can. While a separate teen support group will be running at the same time and location, you can attend either group based on your needs. This may be especially convenient for teens seeking support while their parent participates in the other group.
