Digital safety and online harm are on every parent’s mind. Join me, Andrew MacFarlane, Zone 5 trustee candidate, for a practical education night on digital safety and reporting pathways.We’ll cover:
- Sextortion scams — how they target youth and what red flags to look for
- Consent, privacy, and bystander support for Grades 6–10
- How reporting works: school staff, police liaison, provincial supports
- What trustees can do: set service standards and require public reporting
👉 Ground rules: no names or individual case details — this is a safe space to learn and prepare.

👉 Open to all parents/guardians in Zone 5.
