Parent Education Classes - Barnet
Join us for our fun and informative Parent Education Classes at Barnet Hospital! Whether you're a new parent or have been on this journey for a while, our classes are designed to equip you with valuable knowledge and practical tips.
Date: Taking Place every 4th Saturday of the month
Time: 10:00 AM - 16:00 PM
Location: Parenthood Room, Maternity Department Wellhouse Lane, Barnet, EN5 3DJ
You are welcome to bring one partner along
During the session, our experienced Midwives will cover a range of topics including:
- Becoming a parent which is the first of our three-part session, and provides information on where you can have your baby, how to build relationships with your unborn child and links to other sources of important information for you to read.
- Preparing for birth which provides more detailed information on how to prepare for birth, including pre-birth exercises, a list of what to bring into hospital with you, the three stages of labour and how your birth partner can get involved and support you during your labour.
- Infant feeding and caring for your baby where you'll have the opportunity to interact with other parents, share experiences, and gain insights from different perspectives.
Our classes are held in person, allowing you to engage directly with the Midwives and ask questions. This interactive format ensures a personalised learning experience tailored to your needs.
Join us at Barnet Hospital in our Maternity Department on Level 1 to enhance your parenting skills, connect with other parents, and build a supportive community. Refreshments will be provided, we will break for lunch where you are also able to visit our canteen and Costa on site for goodies.
