Welcome to the Parent Carer Forum York Annual Conference 2026!
Join us on Thurs, Feb 12, 2026 at Delta Hotels , Marriott, York for a day filled with insightful discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities.
Our 2026 conference has a packed agenda with relevant speakers informing you about key developments across SEND services in York . Tickets are available for all York parents and carers of children and young people with additional needs, with or without a diagnosis.
This in-person event is the perfect opportunity for parents and carers to come together and share experiences. Don't miss out on this chance to connect with others who understand the challenges and joys of parenting a child with additional needs.
In the morning we will be joined by a host of professionals from education, health and social care who will update us on their work and on new developments in York for children and young people with additional needs. Speakers include;

- Anna Ikwue, Head of Service, Learning Disabilities and Autism. Social Care: Preparation for Adulthood Next Steps
- Emily Douse, Patient Equality Diversity and Inclusion Lead: Carers experience Improvement plan, York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital - a year on.

Lunch break.
- Over lunch colleagues from York Carers Centre and Healthwatch will be chatting with you and explaining their service offer.
- After lunch the PCF will update you on the development of their growing community of parents and carers in York and will work with you to ensure our priorities align with those of your families.
- A short wellbeing session with Ashleigh Watson from Public Health will close the conference.
Lunch and refreshments are provided, free of charge. Please let us know in advance, at least two weeks prior to the event (by the 29th January), if you have any dietary requirements. We can not guarantee that the venue will be able to accomodate for your for dietary requirements if you book tickets outside of this notice period.
Parking is available on site. PCF York will cover the cost of parking for members. Please register your car at the desk with the hotel staff on arrival.
We understand that families needs may change on a day to day basis, please let us know if you are no longer able to attend so that we can offer your tickets to someone else.
