What is OpenSciEd? Exploring Your Child's Science Learning with QPS Science Coordinator Cara PekarcikParents of students in grades 3–8:
Please join us on Tuesday, January 27, from 6:00–7:30 PM in the Central Middle School Auditorium to learn about the implementation and future use of the OpenSciEd (OSE) curriculum in all QPS middle schools.
Families will explore how OpenSciEd fosters curiosity and sensemaking, see the materials students use, and view student artifacts from this year’s units.
Please register for this Parent Academy by Tuesday, January 20, so we can plan accordingly. If you have any questions, contact Cara Pekarcik at [email protected].
While the session will highlight units from grades 6–8, families of students of all ages are welcome.
