About this Event
Join us for our first Parent Academy, sponsored by the THRIVE coalition of Indian River County and the Mental Health Collaborative. Participants of this event will join other parents and caregivers in our community, and connect with subject matter experts speaking on a variety of resiliency-focused areas.
Parent Academy seeks to provide:
- Strategies to enhance support for your child's wellness
- Guidance to nurture your child's resiliency
- Community-building through shared experiences and resources
Workhops offered during Parent Academy include, but are not limited to: managing stress, enhancing parent-child communication, college prep, internet safety, student success in the school setting, and more!
After the workshops, we'll also have a vendor walk of organizations who can provide resources for you and your youth.
