PARC Tennis Clinic + Community Play
Returning for Season 2
Presented by Peopleβs Art and Recreation Center (PARC) + Breakpoint Tennis Academy
Join PARC and Breakpoint Tennis Academy for Season 2 of free monthly community tennis and neighborhood recreation programming at Benton Park.
Designed to bring together families, neighbors, beginners, artists, and local creatives, PARC Tennis Clinic + Community Play creates an accessible environment where recreation, movement, wellness, and community connection come together.
Whether youβre picking up a racket for the first time, bringing the family, joining neighbors for a morning in the park, or simply looking to spend time outdoors, this program is designed for all ages and experience levels.
The day begins first thing with a light cleanup around Benton Park tennis courts and surrounding area, that leads into a community warm-up hour featuring stretching, casual strolling, walking, light jogging, complimentary coffee, donuts, and water before transitioning into beginner-friendly tennis clinics and Community Play.
RSVP is required for participation in scheduled tennis clinics. Following clinic sessions, attendees and neighbors are invited to stay for Community Play, featuring open court time, art, activities, refreshments, and a relaxed park atmosphere.
No prior tennis experience is necessary.

Benton Park Community Cleanup (Volunteers Welcome)
Info: Help us start the day by caring for the courts and surrounding park together. Community members are invited to join PARC + Breakpoint Tennis Academy for a light neighborhood cleanup before the day's tennis clinics and activities begin. Following cleanup, volunteers are invited to stay for the Community Warm-Up + Coffee Hour beginning at 9:30am.

Community Warm-Up + Coffee Hour with PARC
Info: Start the morning with a relaxed community gathering before clinics begin. Participants are invited to enjoy: Enjoy a designated pathway throughout Benton Park for casual strolling, walking and light jogging , along with beginner-friendly warm-up and stretching activities designed to prepare participants for the day's tennis clinics. Complimentary hot coffee, donuts and water. Additional activities available onsite: Community art station, gathering and social time. PARC Service concession stand, hospitality items available while supplies last.

Parents + Kids Tennis Clinic (RSVP Required)
Info: A fun, beginner-friendly clinic led in partnership with Breakpoint Tennis Academy designed for parents and youth to learn, rally, and play together.
Beginner-friendly, no experience required. Equipment provided during clinic hours.
Capacity is limited. Advance RSVP encouraged.

Adult Beginners Tennis Clinic (RSVP Required)
Info: A beginner-friendly clinic led in partnership with Breakpoint Tennis Academy for adults looking to learn the basics or sharpen their skills in a fun, low-pressure environment. Participants will learn tennis fundamentals, build confidence, and practice with guidance from experienced instructors in a welcoming setting.
No prior experience is necessary, and equipment will be provided during clinic hours. Participants are encouraged to arrive 10β15 minutes before their session to stretch, warm up, and get settled before the clinic begins.
Capacity is limited. Advance RSVP is encouraged, though a limited number of walk-up spots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Community Play (Open to the Public)
Info: Community Play begins after the clinics and offers an opportunity for attendees and community members to enjoy the courts and park together. Participants are welcome to continue practicing tennis, rally casually with others, explore the art station, or relax and socialize throughout the event. Just don't forget to bring your own tennis equipment for this part of the day!
PARC concessions, and community gathering spaces will be available on-site.
Community Play is open to the public and does not require an RSVP.
