Serving the Fairfield County community for over 170 years, the haunting legacy of the infirmary once provided refuge for the destitute, mentally ill, physically disabled, elderly, and even orphaned children. In operation from 1828 - 1985, this location has a long history with many stories and tragedies. The energy left behind is definitely palpable.
Previous investigations have yielded hair-raising experiences, such as whispers and audible voices permeating the halls. Disembodied voices, slamming doors, mysterious scents of perfume, and shadow figures darting from room to room. Getting touched by invisible hands are common occurrences at this amazing location.
