Paradox Comics-N-Cards Fall Catan League*Begins: Sunday, September 29th
Welcome to our first-ever Catan league. It’s a 4 week league with an opportunity to play 2 games each week to earn points and qualify for the final tables on Extra Life Game Day, Sunday November 3rd! Whether you are the most casual gamer or the most competitive, there’s a place for you for one game or every weekend with the most popular board game in the world!

Catan League Rules:
Fall League Dates:
*Week 1: Sunday, September 29th
*Week 2: Sunday, October 6th
*Week 3: Sunday, October 20th
*Week 4: Sunday, October 27th
*Fall League Playoffs: Sunday, November 3rd
*Entry Fee: $9.99 Weekly
*Start Time: 2PM
*Format: 2 Catan games weekly
*Pairings: We will divide players in to either 3 or 4 player games. For the first game of Week 1, players will be seated at random. Beginning with the second game in Week 1, players will be seated based on their accumulated points for the league.
*Starting Layout: Each game, we will announce a unique beginning lay out. These lay outs will not be announced in advance.
*League Rules: All league games follow the Catan Tournament Rules, found here:
Players are expected to be familiar with the rules and we will have staff / judge on hand to assist.

Catan League Scoring, Playoffs, & Prizes:
*Scoring:Each game, you will earn league points equal to your score of that game. Each week, your total score for both games will be your final score for that week.
*Playoff Qualification & Ceding: We will use your 3 highest scoring weeks to determine if you qualify for the season’s Top Cut single-elimination Playoff rounds. Playoff ceding will follow the Catan Tournament Rules.
Playoffs will consist of Semi-Final and Final rounds. Maximum number of players who can qualify for the Top Cut Playoffs is 16.
Playoffs take place on the same day as the following league season Week 1. Anyone taking part in the Playoffs will pay a $9.99 Entry Fee and their game scores will be counted as their Week 1 scores for the new league.
*Prizes:
Each league game played, the top scoring player will be awarded a $10 Paradox Comics-N-Cards Gift Card.
*Playoff Prizes:
Semi-Final Games: Each game winner receives a $10 Paradox Comics-N-Cards Gift Card plus advances to Finals.
Final Table: Each player in the finals will recieve a Paradox Comics-N-Cards Gift Card divided in value as follows:
1st Place: 50%
2nd Place: 30%
3rd Place: 10%
4th Place: 10%
The number of players who can qualify for the playoffs will vary from season to season based on league attendance.
The Playoff prize total will vary from season to season based on league attendance and total games played.
We will update both regularly during each league.
