Since this year’s theme is community champions, the kids will get the opportunity to be their own champions of education! They can dress as something they aspire to be, an activity or interest they have now, or carry a sign showing how they are a champion in/of their education.
This planning date is an opportunity for them to create signs to carry, decorate them, and for parents to brainstorm and plan the actual float and other parade details.
Please bring ideas, and any creative materials they might like- cardboard will be provided.
* This day is not a requirement to being in the parade, simply a time to get together and prepare.
