'Tis the season for the 9th Annual Parade of Trees, part of the annual Christmas in the Fort holiday kick off! Come to the BoatHouse on Friday, November 29, to see the holiday trees decorated by local clubs, businesses, and organizations and you can vote for your favorite. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and dress it up with your favorite toppings at our Hot Cocoa Bar and roast a marshmallow for a delicious s'more. There will also be Christmas Choir performances and the Friends of Christmas Garden of Lights in the Legacy Gardens.
Follow the lighted path to Fort Alexandria at the Runestone Museum to visit and Santa and have more holiday fun.
This event is free and open to the public, so gather your loved ones and come for a visit!
Voting for your favorite tree is done through donations, whether its $0.25 or $20, and all proceeds from voting go to our non-profit of the year, Ellie's Legacy Pet Rescue.
