Visit Beauport for some of the best views of the annual Gloucester Schooner Festival’s Parade of Sail. Watch from the terrace as schooners sail to the Eastern Point Light breakwater to begin the Mayor’s race for the Esperanto Cup. Bring blankets and/or chairs and your own refreshments if you like. The house is not open for tours during this event.Part of the proceeds for this event will support Maritime Gloucester and their mission to preserve and teach the seafaring heritage of Gloucester.
