On Sunday, December 1st, head downtown for the annual Parade of Lights beginning at dusk. Starting at 5 p.m. on Sunday, the parade route will begin at the intersection of Broadway and West End Boulevard and will continue east down Broadway, turning right onto Main Street and ending at the parking lot across from Hutson’s Big Sandy Furniture.The theme for the parade this year is “Christmas Magic in Downtown Cape Girardeau” chosen by Parade of Lights Chairs, Kent and Vicki Zickfield.
