Join us for the Parade of Hats for Healthy Hearts Kick Off Tea & Pagent Interest Meeting by Promise Land Heritage Association, hosted at St. James Ame Church! Get ready to show off your favorite hats and enjoy a delightful afternoon of fun in preparation for participation in the 2025 Parade of Hats for Healthy Hearts on June 7th, 2025 during the Promise Land Music and Arts Festival. Let's kick off this heart-healthy event in style!

The Parade of Hats for Healthy Hearts is a fundraiser pageant that brings awareness to healthy habits that may prevent heart disease, which disproportionately impacts African Americans, while symbolizing and celebrating former residents' walk down Promise Land Road in their finest attire as they made their way to community churches.
100% of funds support the Promise Land Heritage Association (PLHA) benevolent fund, known as the Care and Kindness Efforts (CAKE) Fund, which supports critical and emergent needs of the community.
