🎃 Papier-Mâché Pumpkin Competition 🎃
Looking for a fun school holiday activity? Get the kids busy creating a spooky funny or whimsical papier-mâché pumpkin for our Halloween Competition!
📍 Drop-off: Pumpkins must be delivered in a bag with your name and contact details to Lakeland Art Gallery High Street Leeston by 12 noon on Monday 27 October.
🗳️ Voting:
Public voting will take place in the gallery – collect a voting form and choose your favourite pumpkin.
On Friday 31 October pumpkins will be moved to Ellesmere College Hall for the Halloween Disco for under 8s (5–6pm) where final votes can be made.
The winning pumpkins will be the ones with the most votes.
🎁 Prizes:
Thanks to the generous support of Bluestone Retreat prizes will be awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd place.

🎃 Collection: At 6pm pumpkins may be collected from the Ellesmere College Hall to take home and decorate your place for Halloween night.
Rules:
Pumpkins must be made of papier-mâché.
Each pumpkin must have a hole in the bottom so a flameless candle can sit inside and shine through.
Pumpkins can be scary whimsical or funny – be as creative as you like!
Each entry must be accompanied by the creator’s name and contact details.
Pumpkins must be dropped off by the deadline (12 noon Monday 27 October).
Pumpkins must be collected at the end of the Disco (6pm Friday 31 October).
