About this Event
Come and spend an entertaining and relaxing couple of hours at my lantern papercutting workshop in the lovely Portobello Town Hall. First you’ll learn the basics of this lovely mindful art form and then be guided to make some fabulous tea light holders. Suitable for complete beginners, your lanterns can be abstract, basic, simple, detailed, complex or just wild - anything goes, it's all about having fun and enjoying the process. With lots of lantern ideas to inspire you I will be there to guide you all the way from idea to finished piece - tips, tricks, chat, biscuits - a perfect Sunday treat!
The Town Hall is wonderful but ancient and the workshop is up approx 6 steps. 18+ due to sharp blades.
