Led by seasoned teacher and lifelong crafter Jen Kindbom, party goers will transform ordinary envelopes, beautiful scrapbook papers, and colorful washi tapes into a really cool paper wallet. This wallet would be perfect as a tiny scrapbook or for filling up with stickers, notes, and gifts for a coach or other special person in your life. This party will be best suited for adults and kids 13+, though 12 year olds and under are welcome with an adult. Register in person by July 12 at Local Roots or over the phone by noon on July 13. Put on those craftypants and make something good!Jen Kindbom is the artist and designer behind JKindDesign, her small sewing and art business. Her work can be found online, at Local Roots, and at various artisan events throughout the year. Jen is the author of poetry collections A NOTE ON THE DOOR (Finishing Line Press) and CADABRA (Cascadia Publishing House). She spent many years enjoying her work as a classroom English teacher. Jen volunteers at Orrville Mennonite’s Monday Meals, plays violin for Wooster Mennonite’s Sunday services, and thoroughly enjoys working at Local Roots a couple days a week. Jen was born and raised on Cleveland’s west side. After she and her college sweetheart Kyle studied at the College of Wooster, they married and settled down in town.
