Paper Street Theatre is having auditions!The improv company that brought you An Improvised Quentin Tarantino, Yes and Yesteryear (An Improvised Jane Austen), The Handmade Tale (An Improvised Margaret Atwood), IMPROV Actually (An Improvised RomCom), A Murder on Paper Street (An Improvised Agatha Christie), and so many more of your favourite improv productions are holding general auditions.
Auditions will be held Sundays July 9th and July 16th in downtown Victoria. There will be various auditions times throughout the afternoon/evening starting at 3pm and running until 8pm. Audition time slots are 1 hour, and all you need to bring is YOU (playfulness and a willingness to take risks and try new things are recommended).
These general auditions are for our 2023/2024 season of completely improvised theatre.

The Glass Bell - Inspired by the works of Sylvia Plath: Oct 11th-14th
Murder on Paper Street - Improvised Agatha Christie: Nov 10th, 11th, 17th, & 18th.
The Piano Man: Dec 13-16
Christmas Eavesdropping - Online show over Zoom: Dec 22nd & 23rd
Mythos - Improvised Mythology: Feb 21st-24th
The audition will explore techniques and skills we'll be using for our upcoming season including honest and sincere scenework, poetry and poetic language, and of course storytelling (including narration).
