The Daviess County Solid Waste Department has announced a new date for the Paper Shredding Collection Event.
Piranha Mobile Shredding will be at the Owensboro Sportscenter parking lot on Friday, September 12, 2025.
This event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. However, it is first-come, first-served. Once the trucks are full, the event is over. Please arrive early to ensure your items are accepted.
All Daviess County residents, businesses, and institutions may participate with a limit of 100 lb. per vehicle.
Bring old files, receipts, canceled checks, tax forms, and other confidential documents. This event is not intended for newspapers, magazines, and regular junk mail.
Piranha Mobile Shredding offers this service at no cost to residents. Daviess County Fiscal Court assists with publicizing the event, and the City of Owensboro provides a staging area.
