*Please visit the discussion page for all updates.*In this workshop you’ll learn the art of paper quilling. In paper quilling, narrow strips of paper are twirled into spirals. Those circles can be formed into different shapes and glued together to make different designs.
In this class, Sara will teach you how to make miniature snowflakes. You'll have enough paper to make up to 8 snowflakes. Findings will be provided to make a pair of earrings. The snowflakes can be hung as ornaments or you may choose to use them to decorate scrapbooking pages or greeting cards.
Sara will begin by demonstrating how to use the required tools. The demonstrations will be projected onto a screen so the whole class can see the small details in real time. You will learn how to make the basic shapes required for the project and how to put them together to make a snowflake. The skills required are beginner friendly. Detailed written instructions will be provided, and Sara will make her way around the room to give one-on-one guidance. A sample will be available for you to look at.
Registration is required. Register before Friday, Nov. 22nd at 7pm to secure your spot.
Price: $45/person payable via EMT.
