About Paper Jam:
PaperJam is a paper zine and online resource hub for the DC DIY music community. Launched in March 2021 as a way to document the music scene's experience and response to the COVID-19 pandemic, PaperJam connects artists and fans with new music, interviews, art, writing, events, and actions to support DC DIY culture. Issue 02 available now.

Elizabeth von Oehsen is a designer, illustrator, drummer, and DC native. She launched PaperJam DC Music Zine in 2020 as a way to document the music scene's experience and response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She lives in Brightwood Park and is usually biking somewhere. Sarah Piepenbrink is an artist, dancer, and editor of PaperJam. She has been making zines since 2004. Sarah lives in Mount Pleasant with her cat Gus.
